This well built home was ready for some updates.

Its owners love the original classic architecture and wanted to keep those elements in place. Updates to the kitchen included some new cabinetry and an awesome new walnut island with beautiful stone top. Other improvements include new flooring, lighting, and an amazing new custom hood over the cook-top.

Other improvements also included opening up the space between the kitchen and informal dining area, updates to the cozy living area, and new cabinetry for the laundry/workstation. Also included were improvements to the powder bath, and back hall. Especially interesting was creating a special built-in space for an antique monk's bench that needed a home.
